Opie Studio Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"), incorporated in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, respects and protects your privacy. This Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard your personal information when you use vvid.tv (the "Service"). We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable law.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: the email address you use to sign in, together with the one-time verification codes and session credentials used to authenticate your login.
• Content you add: the links you save, the media libraries and folders you create, and attachments you submit via the feedback form.
• Usage and device information: watch time, data usage, device and browser type, operating system, and the approximate region inferred from your IP address — used for product analytics and service improvement.
• Payment information: subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; we retain only the billing information we need, such as your subscription status.
• Cookies: we use essential session cookies (such as vvid_session) to keep you signed in.

2. How We Use Information

• provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
• process subscriptions and billing;
• perform product analytics to understand how features are used;
• protect account and system security and prevent abuse and fraud;
• communicate with you about matters relating to the Service.

3. Consent

We obtain your consent (express or, where appropriate, implied by the circumstances) when we collect, use, or disclose your personal information. You may withdraw your consent at any time (see "Your Rights"), although doing so may affect our ability to provide certain features to you.

4. Sharing and Third-Party Services

We do not sell your personal information. We share only the information necessary with the service providers that support the Service, including:

• Stripe — payment and subscription processing;
• Cloudflare — website hosting, content delivery, and cloud storage;
• Amazon SES — sending transactional emails such as verification codes;
• unpkg (CDN) — delivery of player components (unpkg receives your IP address).

In addition, when you browse or play content from platforms such as YouTube or Bilibili, your browser requests thumbnails or video data directly from that platform, which will receive your IP address and apply its own privacy policy.

We may also disclose information where required by law, or to the extent necessary to protect our rights or to prevent fraud and security risks.

5. Data Storage and Cross-Border Transfers

The infrastructure of the service providers above may be located outside Canada, including in the United States. As a result, your information may be processed and stored outside Canada and may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. By using the Service, you consent to such cross-border transfers.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account remains active, and for any period required by law or necessary for legitimate business purposes (such as billing records and dispute resolution). After you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period.

7. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access and correct your personal information, withdraw your consent, or request deletion of your account and data. To exercise these rights, please contact support@vvid.tv.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit, access authentication, and permission isolation. However, no system can guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to minors below the age of full legal capacity. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date on this page or by other reasonable means.
